Resident In Counseling

Independent Contractor, Resident in Counseling, Roanoke Valley Counseling Center, LLC

- I believe that counseling is a collaborative process where we will work together to find what works best for you to improve your situation. I enjoy working with rising adults and others navigating points of transition in their lives. I also specialize in working with those from the LGBTQ+ community, individuals handling grief, and/or people who are looking to understand their identity and values better. I also have experience working with those facing depression, anxiety, relationship stress, and life transition. My personal approach to therapy is person centered and humanistic meaning I meet my clients where they are at and emphasize their strengths and abilities to solve problems and grow along the way. I believe that each person is the expert in their own experiences and has the capacity to survive and thrive through hardship.
