Kerry understands people come to therapy looking for solutions to the problems impacting their daily lives. Her therapeutic approach is interactive, strength-based, solution-focused and practical. Using empathy, compassion, humor, and an objective perspective, Kerry collaborates with clients to develop an effective, pragmatic approach to their current life challenges, as well as addressing long-standing personal concerns. Her goal is to assist clients with accessing their own unique strengths and personal resources to create a realistic, attainable plan to reduce their own suffering.
Kerry has extensive experience working with adults from diverse backgrounds on a wide range of issues. She has supported individuals who suffer from anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, emotional dysregulation, mood instability, toxic work environments and relationship challenges. Based in trauma-informed care, Kerry uses a combination of therapeutic modalities to fit the needs of the client in a non-judgemental, supportive environment. Kerry obtained her Master’s in Social Work from Salisbury University and has experience working in both community mental health and partial hospitalization settings. She has recently joined our firm and is accepting new clients.
