Frequently asked questions
Our fully licensed therapists are contracted with Anthem BCBS, Aetna, Cigna, Sentara, and United Behavioral Health plans. Most of our fully licensed therapists also accept Medicaid plans, and all of our Residents in Counseling accept Medicaid plans. When you contact us, we will verify your insurance and try to match you with a therapist who meets your needs and accepts your insurance. Please inform us if you change your insurance so we can ensure your therapist can accept the new plan. While we cannot guarantee insurance payments due to plan differences, we will assist you throughout the process.

We are delighted that you have chosen to contact us and take this important step. When you call us or reach out via our website, our goal is to ensure your experience is positive and rewarding. The first step is to find a therapist who is a great match for you, not just in terms of experience and expertise, but also in how they approach your questions and discuss your experiences. Our front desk staff are knowledgeable about each therapist's approach and are happy to help you find the right therapist. Once you've selected your therapist, you will need to review and sign your intake documentation and schedule your first appointment. You can choose to meet in person or online, depending on your preference. The number of sessions you may need depends on you and your therapist, so always feel free to discuss your needs and any changes you are experiencing. If you feel that a different approach in therapy might be better for you, you can either speak with your therapist about switching to someone else or call our front desk, and we will be happy to help you find the right therapist. We believe that finding the right therapist is critical to your success, so please call us and let us know how we can help. We can be reached at (540) 354-0911.
