Maham Nasir specializes in helping individuals who struggle with depression, anxiety, anger
management, bipolar disorder, low self esteem, minority / immigrant identity confusion, and more.
Maham received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Mercer University, as well as her Master’s
degree in Family and Marriage Therapy from Mercer’s School of Medicine. Maham provides couples
counseling, family therapy, and individual therapy.

Maham, with her wealth of experience, adeptly guides individuals and couples through the insecurities and self-esteem challenges which can dictate thoughts, assumptions, behaviors, and relationship patterns. Drawing from her understanding of how childhood experiences and family dynamics shape one's mental framework, she offers profound insights into navigating the complexities of the human psyche. Moreover, Maham's expertise extends to assisting individuals in processing and overcoming trauma, providing invaluable tools for moving forward with life.

 

With compassion and expertise, she tackles the nuances of mental illness, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder, imparting practical strategies for managing these conditions. Additionally, Maham equips her clients with the skills needed to navigate interpersonal conflicts and difficult people, empowering them to assert boundaries and maintain emotional well-being. Through her guidance, individuals learn to confront and overcome social anxiety, gaining the confidence to engage more fully in life.
